Old motherboard Vs New video card, please help
Hello all,
I am still using ASUS P4T-E motherboard, it supports AGP 4X (1.5v) as stated in the user manual. Just in case, please see the excerption of the manual regarding my motherboard's support of AGP I am planning on upgrading my video card, but all recent cards in the market (e.g. the Radeon 9xxx series) are of AGP 8X. Will there be a problem? Or will I get any advantage by installing a AGP 8X video card on my motherboard which supports only AGP 4X? I notice some video card spec are written this way: "AGP 8X/4X/2X" does this mean the video card can go with motherboard who has either AGP 2X, 4X or 8X port? T.S.LIM |

Thanks guys!
I think I will get the best of either Nvidia or Radeon card which supports only up to AGP 4X T.S.LIM |
