CPU Temp
Was wondering what should be a good CPU temp for my P4 2.8GHz with NO overclock?
Its changing anywhere from 84-90 now and was wondering because I'm messing around with my fan arrangements. thanks |

Those temps are fine. As long as your computer is running stable, there's nothing to worry about.
P4's are supposed to work up to temps of 90 C (195 F), but since they have the built in thermal protection circuit that will automatically reduce their speed to reduce heat, so they'll probably never see more than 75 C (167 F). Don't obsess about CPU heat in a non-overclocked system, doesn't do you any good to do so.  Cricket
