CPU Temp

Was wondering what should be a good CPU temp for my P4 2.8GHz with NO overclock?

Its changing anywhere from 84-90 now and was wondering because I'm messing around with my fan arrangements.

thanks

Those temps are fine. As long as your computer is running stable, there's nothing to worry about.

P4's are supposed to work up to temps of 90 C (195 F), but since they have the built in thermal protection circuit that will automatically reduce their speed to reduce heat, so they'll probably never see more than 75 C (167 F).

Don't obsess about CPU heat in a non-overclocked system, doesn't do you any good to do so.
