My PC wont boot somtimes?!

alright, this might seem weird.. but sometimes when i restart my computer it wont boot up, and in that case i need to pull out power from PSU for 10 seconds and then plug it back in and hold insert so settings are reset in bios.

i was running at default Corsair 3200 speed of 200mhz ( CPU CLOCK ) since it uses it for RAM now i am running at 166mhz ( Default FSB of the 2600 athlon ) to see what happens

Does anyone know what the problem is?

it does the same overclocked.

What brand is your PSU?

Power down and unplug-Try clearing CMOS and taking the CMOS battery out too, and then put it back, and reattach the ATX header to the motherboard. Set optimized defaults in the bios, and try using loose timings to see if that makes a difference. Also monitor you +12v, 3.3v, and +5v rails, they should all be in spec.

i have a Enermax 350W psu pretty costly for a PSU but im not sure if that is the problem its quite new though.

its been well so far ( been running 2 days but this means nothing yet! ) I will try reboot soon and see what happens.

Sometimes my tornado fan makes weird noises after left on for a while, it starts speeding up and then going slower and then speeding up and going slower again.. the only way i can fix this is to pull out my fan controller and either pull out the power cord and push it back in or select another fan header to take power for the fan to run.

Where do you have the Tornado fan plugged into...the motherboard or directly to the power supply? I wouldn't pull power from the motherboard for that thing, could give you weird power related problems. Get an adapter (if necessary) and plug it into the power supply.
