fans

i recently bought a new case with 4 fans plus the prossesor and power fans that total 6. when i was starting to get a slightly high temp reading i tried turning the fan on the side of the case to blow air in. it seemed to help by about 5 to 10 degrees. is this a bad idea.( dust or debris) . thanks for your input

No, it's not a bad idea to run that fan. But you may need to open the case and blow it out more often (you should clean out the case on a regular basis anyway).
