Quick Erasing HD or Full Erase ?

I'm going to wipe my HD. I'm using Western Digital's Utility to write my drive to zero. When the thing ask if I want a full erase, or quick erase which should I pick?

I usually choose Full Erase since I have the time and I want to know if there are any benefits from choosing this?

If I choose quick erase will this be fine?
When I get to reformat, should I choose quick or full?

Seems like writing zeros doesn't offer a quick or full erase. I thought those terms are only used when reformatting. Writing zeros is a different process entirely.

But in the Western Digital Utility it says something about a Quick or Full Erase. Maybe it stated some similar options. How useful is it to choose full ?

Full Erase writess zeros to the entire drive.

Quick Erase writes zeros to the first and last million sectors of the drive.

Bad nite I guess! I was thinking of the Windows quick format feature. Think I need a nap!

I always use full erase - otherwise why would I bother, I'd just delete partitions and reformat.

How do I delete the partitions? If I deleted all my partitions, this would make it possible for me to install new operating system right?

2K/XP's setup will delete partitions for you.

How do I access the XP Setup?
I just put the CD in the drive and wait for the setup? Because it never automatically runs when after I setup the OS.

Change your boot sequence so that it boots from the CD first(or second after floppy) and it will either automaticly go in setup or ask you to push a key.
