still between the rock and the HD
 Upon inspection of my Gateway Performance 800xl I'vediscovered the ribbon cale connects to an expansion card in a PCI slot. I have WindowsXP installed. I'd like to upgrade the hard drive,what would work best I'm open for suggestions THANKS. Xspence |

from what to what ?
a new wd 120 gig with 8 meg of cache would be a good choice |

It would realy help us out if you posted some more system specs and details. What r u upgrading from? How much space do you need. What do you use the comp for?
