Case recommendations
Can anyone recommend a case that would work well with the
P4C800 Deluxe mobo and an Audigy2 ZS Platinum with the faceplate? I'd like a case that isn't too huge but yet has plenty of room to work in, maybe screwless, one that comes with a good power supply already installed would be nice. Thanks!! |

Good cases that come with good power supplies are Antec, AOpen, Enermax (if it has the Enermax PSU, not the PowerUp), Enlight, InWin and Thermaltake. Any of these will work with the ASUS P4C800 Deluxe. Whether or not they'll work with that Audigy face plate I wouldn't know, but since it just replaces the 5.25" bay cover I don't see a problem.

Newegg has the Sonata at a good price today only $80. It's an Antec case built specifically to run quietly. Has a special 380 Watt true power psu and comes with a case fan. Finish is called 'Piano Black" and it shines like a Baby Grand!

I've heard that the cases with front doors don't work too well with the Audigy2 panel... any other suggestions? Thanks again!

How about this Antec SX630II or it's bigger brother, the Antec SX835II? They are both really well made, have good cooling, lots of space to work in and come with good quality power supplies. The only drawback is they're kind of heavy (because of the thick steel they use for the chassis).
Oh wait, not sure if these will work with that Audigy from panel since the 5.25" drive bays use rails to hold the drives, not slotted screw holes. Cricket
