Question

Can you increase the amount of shared memory for video? Can it be done in bios or display adapter properties? Right now I have 8mb integrated AGP. Would like to set it at 32mb.

Ceteron 500
ATI Rage Mobility M1 8mb shared
192mb RAM
Win 98 SE

On some boards, yes, on others, no. If you can, there will be a setting in the BIOS.

Maybe if you have some spare cash you can get a Radeon mobility. They have their own 32MB ddr ram and would make a laptop purchase worthwile finally. Who wants to just do work on them anyway?
