Days are changing, temp getting higher.
My comp's been running for days and days now without any problems at 2.250ghz 225FSB.. the ram voltage is at 2.7V ( seems safe ) and the chipset voltage is up 1 notch higher.
Now since summer is coming its gotten around 3 degrees celsius warmer where i am and my cpu temp rose to 41.5- 42.0 is this bad? or good? as long as it can live and still is pretty cool ill live with it. Only problem ive had so far is wildtangent crashing when i try to load a game with someone on AOL.. but i think thats a different matter. Ive been playing SOF2 for hours and hours and left it on over night, no problem either. I have noticed however that if i benchmark with 3d mark 2001SE after a few days running that the score drops around 500 marks.. i think this is normal though since in reviews people do fresh reboots for benchies Last edited by shadow of chaos; 04-24-2004 at 01:09 PM. |

i will have to lower my OC for the summer. here in michigan, summer is hot and humid like florida, and winter is brisk and cold like alaska. i had my CPU running 220 x 11 for a bit last summer and i was loading in the low 60s. i will just back it down to 220 x 9.5 because thats the fastest it will run on its 1.5V default voltage.
