DVD cable connector with SATA HD

I am in the process of building a computer and I am using a WD 160GB SATA HD. My question is do I connect the DVD burner to the primary or seconday IDE connector on the MB when using a SATA HD? TIA

It dosent matter which one you connect it to, I have done it both ways.
Right now, i have 2 sata drives on my controller and 4 opticals on my ide controller.

Just make sure SCSI or SATA is in the boot order somewhere and you should be good to go

Another question along the same lines.......I am running Sata HDD but on the opticals (DVD and CD-RW) should I connect one to primary and one to secondary or both on one connector?

Drives on separate connectors is always the better way to go if you have the option.
