New build Raid setup problem

Ok this is on the new build

Asus P4c800-Deluxe
2- WD Raptors
2- WD 200 gig'ers

all 4 are Sata drives.

I couldn't figure out the Raid/connections/bios/drivers and got frustrated so I installed XP on one of the Raptors. It came up fine and works like a charm, in fact I am writing this on the new machine. I connected online and dl'd the Diskmaker and extracted the drivers I needed to set up the Intel Raid configuration. Now what? How do I go back and combine the 2 Raptors into a Raid 0 array? I know I will probably have to load windows again but what steps do I follow to get to the utility that will let me build the array before I load windows again.

I want the Raptor's on the Intel Raid and the 200 gig drives on the promise Raid. Asus tech support has been MIA. Called at 9:00 this morning and it is now 9:30 pm and no call back.

Any help appreciated.

Put the Raptors on the Intel controllers, go into the bios, and set up the array in there. Then boot with the XP cd and press F6 when prompted, put the floppy in. When Windows is installed, then install the Promise drivers, shut down, and install the other 2 drives. Raid them too if you want.

Ok, I tried that and the drivers loaded and windows installed but it is still a single disk not a raid array.........I'm so frustrated I'm about to take my hammer to it.......lol. I think my biggest mistake was instaling windows to the single drive.........grrrr. I figure there has to be a way because what if, after say a year, you decided you wanted a raid array? There has to be a way to set it up.

What is the indicated CAPACITY of the drive? A RAID is going to show up in My Computer as only ONE drive. A Raid 0 will show up as the capacity of both drives, a Raid 1 will show up as the capacity of a single drive. The only place where you will see 2 drives is in Disk Management.

Ok, got frustrated and moved them to the promise controler. Dl'd the drivers onto floppies. Set up the raid in the Promise Fast Build utility. Booted with XP cd. Hit F6 to load promise drivers. XP loads a bunch of other drivers like the normal setup it asks whether I want to install or repair. I chose install and it says it is unable to find any disks on my system. I used a 98 floppy to get to fdisk and set a partition but how do I format it? Do I need to before setup will see it? In the past formating was part of the install process but no matter wehat I do I can't seem to get past the "can't find any disks" problem.
