Thumbs up Installing 2 CD-ROMS

i want to install a dvd burner in my comp. i have a dvd/cd-rw already installed. i've got 2 hard drives on my ide0 and that cd-rw on the ide1. my audio cable from the cd-rw is running to audigy 2 soundcard.

i know i should slave the new dvd-rw drive onto the cd-rw on ide1, but what should i do wtih the audio cable running from the new dvd-rw??

I would have the two hard drives on the ide port 0
and the two optical drives on the second ide port 1

and have the cdrw as master and the cdr as slave.

You don't need an audio cable if you enable digital audio on the drive, the cable is only for playing music CD's anyway. With digital audio enabled, the audio will go through the IDE and PCI bus to the soundcard.
