Advice on this mobo
Dont know any thing about gigabyte so I need advice on this
GA-8S648FXl Any problems? Is one IDE cable enough? Advice appreciated fedz

You asked for advice - and mine is not to buy that board. Gigabyte quality is too variable in my opinion and that board has a SiS 648FX chipset, which in my opinion is not a good chipset.
If you buy it, you need an 80 wire Ultra ATA cable for your hard drives on the primary channel, and a 40 wire standard IDE cable for your optical drives on the secondary channel. |
