Question Variable speed LED case fans

Antec, on their Web site, states that their LED fans should not be connected so that they are variable speed. Cooler Master makes no mention of this issue. I am interested in using LED case fans that are connected to the motherboard or a fan speed controller of some type such as the new Hardcano 12. Can anyone point me to LED fans that are designed to be variable speed (and don't sound like miniature tornadoes)? (I realize that as the fans slow down, the brightness of the LEDs diminishes and that is OK).
