Cool Intel Announces LGA 775 Prescott Chip Prices

According to the the-inquirer.com:

It also says that they are agressively going to phase out the 478 pin chips with numerous price cuts for the new chips.

Most interesting - I'm guessing that it whould be prudent to get my planned Northwood core 512 L2 cache CPU more in July. I'm guessing Intel is aggresively trying to push sales on Prescotts - sales seem shakey so far .

Hmm - looks like the Celeron D has the potential to be a decent processor. 533 bus and 256 cache.
