Angry Fire Quitting a game = restart

On top of the random restarts that I have been getting AGAIN another problem has risen. When I hit quit in ANY game it is basicly the same as hitting the reset button on the case. The computer either restarts instantly or if shows a blank blue screen from which I have to reset from. This is getting rediculous.

Is there an NVidia equivalent of the DDC?
Before I start in on drivers, driver cleaners, reforamtts, and so on what is the usual update route ?
I can't tell if you missed an old driver or if the video card is failing.

DDC? Anyway, the drivers are fine this is a relatively fresh install of XP. I have only installed one set of drivers since I reformatted. The video card better not be failing. I'm on my thrid Gainward card. I believe the first two died because i had a cheap power supply. I replaced the PSU when I got my current card.

What shows up in Event Viewer?
You've effectively eliminated software as the problem so now it's on to the hardware and Event Viewer may help point the way.
