Refresh Rates
Hey everyone...
Ok here's my problem: I'm an avid gamer (Counter-strike) and when I'm playing on a resolution of 640x480 I want to have a refresh rate of 100hz. Since ATI Control panel isn't much help (from what I've searched for) I first installed reforce to try to make it work. The first time it worked with the new 4.5 catalyst drivers, but then the new drivers made me skip and jump around while I was in game so I installed the 4.3 again --- and now reforce wont work. Next I tried ATI Refresh Rate Fixer and this doesn't work either ... (maybe I did it wrong) Anyone know how to make it so when I change from 640x480 it will make my refresh rate 100 hz? Current video card: ATI RADEON 9700 |

I've never tried what you're asking for, but you may want to give the ATI drivers modified by Omega a look. He offers much more adjustability. Here's a link:

Is that a "Tried it" and it works, or "Tried it" and it doesn't work either?

Omega drivers dont help or hurt me.. .but they dont let me put 100 hz on at 640x480

Just to make sure, your monitor will support 100hz at 640x480 right? (i would hope so, but never hurts to ask!
 )
