Here is a little test I am doing, with Passmark proformance test
I have my current system up and running.
MB Asus A7N8X-X CPU AMD xp2600 Barton core 333fsb Motherboard Chipset nVIDIA nForce2 400 System Memory 512 MB (PC3200 DDR SDRAM) Video Adapter SAPPHIRE RADEON 9600 ATLANTIS - Secondary (256 MB) Storage: Disk Drive WDC WD800JB-00CRA1 Partitions: C: (NTFS) 76308 MB (41159 MB free) I run a test and got a score of 296.4 Later today, I hope to receieve my xp3200 barton core 400 fsb and plan to run the same test to compare results.

Ok, I just got the xp3200 installed.
New score with only a CPU change is 323.2 now i am going to test it with programs I use daily. Last edited by Byte 2.0; 05-26-2004 at 11:14 AM. |

That looks like pretty good benchmark software. Is it free to use? Where did you get it?
