As I've suspected, the terrorist will be the fall guy (scapegoat). However, he has committed plenty of other acts in which to pay. In the intelligence world, I go with Israel.

From what G.W. said last night, it looks like bin Laden may just be the first of many, many to pay for past, present, and future crimes. I don't know if anyone is going to want to be bin Laden's successor because they may be the next to go. It sounded last night like Bush wanted to start in Afghanistan and just start moving west from there eliminating all terrorist threat along the way. So even if bin Laden isn't behind this, we will eventually get to whoever is and they will suffer the same fate. We'll just have to wait and see.

The U.S. wants to destroy all terrorist leaders and followers. I'm willing to bet that the financial paper trail will lead to some surprises.

The info may be severely dated, but Laden has/had his $$ in the World Capital Bank in New York and his plane was bought and/or serviced in Arkansas.

As for the money trail, you can BET the trail is being covered over.
