Listen. If you can't keep a civil and decent tone, you won't make me very happy.

I sure as hell don't spend my FREE time here to babysit people like you that can't be CIVIL and DECENT on the forums that we provide server space and bandwidth for. If you don't like the place leave. If you keep acting like this, I WILL shut this forum down, and I WILL make sure that there is NO disscussion about this topic what-SO-EVER at all on these forums.

I've said this before, and I'll say it to you again. If you wanna cause fights, or if you don't like it here, the door is in the upper right (or upper left, depending on your OS). If you run Windows, it looks like a big "X".

If you've got a problem with someone, be decent about it and don't go out looking for blood.

Consider this a warning to you, as well as anyone else that does anything even remotely close to what you've done in the previous thread you mention. So help me god, if anyone does, I'll shut this forum down, and that's not a threat, it's a promise. I am not at all happy as to the maturity in this forum right now. Show some respect for those that died by not trying to pick fights over the topic. I will not tolerate anything less than that, bottom line.

Your rudeness to moderators as well as myself is not tolerated. If you wish to remain a member, I suggest you act more appropriately. Consider yourself 1 wrong move from being forced to leave. THIS topic is NOT open to disscussion.

I DID like it here.
I was NOT having a problem with anyone, NOR was I looking for blood.
I was ASKING, as a favor, for an explanation.
None was offered.
Hence my insistence.

Sorry, for expecting the obvious.

I do not appreciate being called UNCIVIL and INDECENT by someone who just wrote the above.

Consider me gone.

DOK

As much as we are all affected by this tragedy Karel did not place any offending remarks to the general populace, or troysville.

Retrebution is not an answer. If it is your wish then ban me. I am sure that I have said something innappropriate in the past.

For the most part I have had an admiration for your views.

You are now considered a madman in the ranks of myself and a few others.

I do not know what personal tragedy you may have suffered, but I sympathise and also seek to retribute on those that have done this to you.

You have always been the light of reason on this forum and I will support you in any way that I can.

The future holds many things, hate is not one of them.

Correction ...

Just to go back a bit, the remarks starting with
"...and proud of it, no doubt?
I hope you realise that by saying "twisted", I was being nice. I should have written "tasteless". You still agree?" in the thread at http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?threadid=17774
were seen as the beginning of an aggression on the part of Karel ... a respected member of these forums. Karel chose to ignore the pleas of several administrators and moderators to end an argument which had been started by him in response to a rather innocuous joke by another esteemed colleague. Karel had many options and chose this one ... "Consider me gone".
It's a free country.

Kraken: Our policies and decisions concerning this particular forum (Contemporary Terrorism) are NOT open to discussion. We have provided it strictly as a service to our members on a TECH forum and must keep a very tight rein on it. Thank you for understanding. As always, Forumclick is available for more "free spirited" discussions.

Sorry glc,

Don't know to laugh or to cry, but...

What FORUMS are then for??????..anything.....but DISCUSSIONS???????????

I was once asked to be a manager, but I declined knowing that I can't to be a good one, doesn't matter how good or bad worker I was), so why be bad one- I choose to be a good worker instead to be a bad manager.

I'm fixing to decipher the rules, as I understand them. PCMech is a tech forum, geared toward pc's and peripherals. The mods and Doc were going out on a limb when the Political forum was started, but did so since everyone was interested at the time. The same can be said when they created this latest forum, whose demise I can see on the horizon. It's refreshing to know that geeks can also have other interests, but some subjects lend themselves to raw nerves being struck. While the subject can be hotly debated, once it becomes personal the refs call the game. As such, they may or may not hit the panic button too soon, but err on the side of caution. There are other forums where folks can talk smack.
