A question?

How do you think someone spends millions to get ~$100,000 job?

i know, here are most IT people and I'd like to explain, how politicians spend Mil.'s of $'s [in some case their own] in order to get ~$100,000/year job.

Did anyone here spent let's say $500,000 in ordcer to get $50,000/year job?

I'd really wouldn't like to hear about tax payers provided $$$.
Would you like to pay in advance from your own pocket to listen to some BS called "debates"?

It's called thirst for power, feeding ego, or just a "desire to serve". LBJ started as a school teacher and ended up rich as a pol. You meet alot of influential people on the way up, who are more than happy to give you $$ if you'll scratch their back if elected.

Answer:
It's not their money.

Ron,
some do:
NYC mayor Bloomberg
someone in NJ did spent his own mills and won election.

I adore Bloomberg just for one reason- he wants to take out computers from schools up to 6th grade:

It's time to stop producing idiots and kids should to get some basic thinking.
You can see too many people with lack of basic thinking everywhere, even here on PC Mech.

I've seen college grads who simply can NOT think.

smokin

I have learned a lot on computers. I am sure the 6th graders are currently learning writing skills as they use their computers.

Remember Homer Simpson couldn't find the "any key" when prompted. He's a safety inspector for a nuclear power plant.

I watch Simpsons just because they are REALITY about average american family.

Just at Boston Logan Airport how many "Simpsons" worked

Just wonder, how many laugh about, and how many try to think about how to change that?
Hope, not too many do laugh at themselves.
