Running Seti@home on 2 computers

I got tired of getting kicked off of my computer so that my son could play Putt-Putt/Independence Day/Warcraft 2, so I took out one of my HDD's and my CDROM and made him a computer out of my old one, which is a Pentium 200. Anyway, now I have Seti running on 2 computers, only 1 of which has internet access. I followed Seti's instructions, and was able to report and download a new unit for the other computer, but it reset the unit this one was working on. Is there any way to switch back and forth between units without it resetting the one it is working on? I suppose I could wait until they are both done, but I hate seeing one "wasting its time".

Why dont you throw an old modem into the old computer - or network the 2 and use ICS?

Well, I guess I could. I have a couple of old 10 base NICs but I'm not sure if they work or not. Also, I know nothing whatsoever about setting up a network, but I guess I could get my brother to do it for me. The only modem I have is a 1200 or 2400, I'm not sure which. Plus, space is limited on both computers now (his has a 2GB, mine has a 3GB) so if I installed a modem, I would have to install AOL, which is getting pretty bloated these days. So I guess the NICs would be the best option, if I can scrounge up enough for the cable that is.

The cable's pretty cheap..., just make sure it's a crossover if you're just using 2 computers. Networking in win9x is actually pretty simple I think (that is, you'll get the hang of it real fast), wanna learn how it works with linux now, when I get some time (probably this summer= no school).
