Anyone else have a problem with one of the cores performing an illegal operation? I had this problem yesterday when my screensaver went to kick in. (I have the screensaver version of F@H installed) I would get a message saying that the FAH 4.0 Core has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. I ended up deleting the most recent core, let my screensaver kick in, it downloaded a new core and it worked fine. Just was wondering if anyone else had ever had this problem with a core before? It's working fine now, so I am wondering if I just got a bad file from F@H.

You did what they recommend. Sometimes the Core gets corrupted somehow, so deleting and downloading does the trick.

Thanks Kov-Ice for the reply. I had checked the FAQ but didn't see that in there. I must have missed it. I figured I didn't screw it up too bad since it was working fine now!
Thanks, Scomac |
