folding-farm

does anyone have a folding-farm or know how to set one up? i have a few older machines and will hopfully be getting a bunch more and i want to make a folding-farm with them. i remember seeing a way to do it on windows but u have to buy some special software and i don't want to. linux is the way to go i hear but the problem is i have no idea how to use linux.

could someone show me a step by step tutoria; or something to get this to work? i would like to use one 'server' and have the other clients boot from it. one HDD = less noise, less power, less heat.

thanks!

I would search around and ask some questions at the Folding Forums. There may be some info there, and certainly there could be some people who themselves have farms running. Good luck.

I don't know if this is what you are looking for or not but you might find it helpful.
