Quick question on folding...
I've been running folding@Home for about two weeks now. I keep it running all day. I actually just rebooted for the first time in three weeks. Anyways, I can keep it running, even during high CPU usage stuff like FarCry and such, right? I just wanted to make sure that everything is cool. Thanx!

yup. you can have it running all the time. It only uses spare cpu cycles as a secondary app. so other apps come first and whatever they don't use it uses. It dosen't affect the preformace of your pc.
Thanks for folding for the team and keep up the great work!

Technically you can, because it only uses spare CPU cycles, however I have noticed a loss of performance when gaming while folding is running, so i prefer to stop before i play a game, and then resume afterwards.

It also depends upon which client you use. If you use the Graphic client, you may sometimes run into OpenGL conflicts which can cause certain games to not run properly. You won't have that problem with the Text console.
If you use the GUI, tho, you can right click the FAH icon in your tray and choose Pause from the menu to put your Fold on hold while you play.
