When you switch to the console version, the console will start at 0 work units. But, if you use the same name and team number, your count at the folding stat board will be added to what you have done uo to now.

Not exactly true flanzing. You can just replace the Graphical client .exe with the text console .exe, keeping your work folder, etc. in the same place. This allows you to simply pick up where you left off.

Well this way you don't lose progress on the current WU either. You just pick up from where you left off.

I think you can minimize it. Or you can set it to run as a service, and monitor it with EMIII. Follow the instructions here if you are interested in that. You can download EMIII here.

Question old prob solved now a new one

my new problem is that while working my progress does not change, i had my comp on all night last night with 8 unit things then when i woke up it was still at 8 so i shut it to give it a rest and to cool and when i turned it on 10 minutes ago it was at 13 units complete

is this normal or no???

i actually had the same problem... wasn't sure if it was the console version or emi that was having a problem.... i could never actually figure out what was going on or how to fix it so i just run the gui version. i never open it, but if i hold the mouse over it, it tells me how far it is. good enough for me.
