Hi guys, I have two questions...I have completed 3 WU's thus far and have yet to see my name on the team list.
Also I have noticed that when I play games (not online) they minimize themselves and will not stayy maximized unless I turn off Folding. Any ideas? |

well, i see you on our team list, so..... yeah...
as for the games: make sure that core priority (in configure-->advanced tab) is set to lowest possible.... also, are you using the gui version or the console version? what games does this happen to? i do know that f@h causes some open gl games to have problems (has something to do with the way windows handles open gl commands or something... i dunno). try stopping f@h before launching games and see what happens. |

It happens when I play The Sims or Unreal Tournament 2004. I have to turn off Folding to play. I am using the GUI mode, so I will try to turn down the priority when I'm playing. Thanks.

The GUI mode does cause problems with many apps and games although running the console or running as a service I can play UT04 and other games just fine while F@H is running in the background. Doom3 is the only game that causes any slow down but the game still plays.

I recommend staying away from the GUI as well. You can just drop the FAH500-Console.exe into your program folder and change the shortcut to point to it. This should allow the Console to pick up the WU you're currently working on with no loss of data, as long as you don't mess with any of the other files.
