Is it just me or.....
I know that F@H only used spare cpu cycles, but I do have to shut it down when playing games. Is this normal or do I need to change something? System is as follows:
Asus P4P-800E-DLX, P4 2.4C, 2 X 512mb Kingston HyperX PC3200, Radeon 9800XT, XP Pro SP2. It just seems odd that I can still perform video editing, music editing and lots of multi-tasking, but no gaming while F@H is running. I am however using the graphical client. Thanks

That's the problem. The GUI has always had OpenGL problems which often conflict with games. I suggest the Text Console or installing as a service. Monitor with EMIII, which gives much more info than the GUI anyway.

That's kinda what I was thinking. I'll give that a try and see how it goes from there.
Thanks! |
