Thought I'd resurrect this one to say a belated thanks to Kov-Ice for the welcome to the folding team. Although a while off the six-digit club, my three dedicated machines are working hard along with my main system Currently at around 7000 points and glad to be contributing to the team.

Well it's been a while since I've posted (been workin a new job and unfortunately this leaves me little time to check in on the mech), but I wanted to chime in and says congrats to everyone! I just hit my 20K mark which seemed impossible just a few months ago. So to any folding newbies...KEEP PLUGGIN AWAY!

A few early milestones...

Kareseer has hit 2,000+

RoyKelly at 4,000+

Surewhynot and KodMaster are both over 5,000+

And everyone else on the team, great job everyone and keep up the good work!

That's a great contribution PR. Just a point to note, I used Extreme Overclockers' folding stats to calculate points and member positions in a years time. It put me around the no. 60 position with about 50,000 points....but more importantly, it put YOU, PR, at the 1,000,000 mark! Now that's impressive

I monitor the EOC stats too, FK, but I'm not familiar with the one you're referring to. Can ya point me in the right direction?

Nice PR!

http://folding.extremeoverclocking.c...u=145694&f=365

You know, this is a good excuse for me to start folding again. Now that I've got me an XP-90 with an always silent fan (old one would ramp up with temp).

Blue has got it, click the hyperlink to your own stats page, then the menu on the left expands to show the "user future option". Funny, at the moment it shows you not quite hitting a million, I guess because it works on ppd at the time you calculate.

Yeah, the 24hr average. With PR's current avg it would take another 29.5 days to reach a million.

That brings up a good point - I wonder how fast Conroe will fold? I'll be building a new machine with a Conroe dual core soon, so I guess we'll both find out.

Great work, PR! I hit 10,000 9 May but had to slow folding down for the summer because the ac unit can't keep up with the temps outside. Anyway, nice work.

With a Conroe, you'd be able to run two instances of F@H (one for each processor). If those are Hyper-Threading cores, technically you could run 4 instances! That would be a PPD boost for sure!

edit: and way to go, PR!!!

We have not had an update in quite some time... There's certainly cause for one, as enhanced has surpassed 800,000 points!!! Way to go, Eric.

Other notable milestones:
  • mrmister1 80,000
  • gimpy 60,000
  • fedz 20,000

and Krazeee has just finished his first 1,000 points.

Thanks, everyone, for your contributions!

I'll be getting one of those Conroes in the next couple of months so I should be getting a pretty good boost as well.

Anyway...Keep up the good work everyone.

Kareeser, offering recognition is wonderful but you might want to review the first post in this thread. It outlines the accomplishments worthy of recognition. Keep folding, gang!

Not that 50 WUs isn't worthy, Kareez. It's just that adding those type milestones to points and rankings might make it a little cluttered in here. Especially considering the fact that you, Freakitchen, and Surewhynot all hit 50 WUs this past week.

And how 'bout PR (aka Mystery Folder) moving up to #2 in the Team Rankings? The impossible may just be possible unless Eric gets things kicking back up at his old school next month. Happy Folding, all!
