this seems odd, 5.03 graphic, verse 5.02 text
I have been running the graphic verison on my xp1700 processor while running the text on my xp3200.
my xp1700 has been running cycles around my xp3200, perhaps my xp3200 has been getting choked with very tuff proteins, but i just put the text one on my xp1700 and now it seems much slower on the steps. Actually Electron Microscope is reporting it is going to take 114 hours for a 69 point unit. Protein 1116. I am going to try the graphic program on both.

now I switched the xp1700 back to the 5.03 and that same protein 1116 is going to take a little of 15 hours to complete.
I know my systems are in good shape, good cooling, etc, but that is not making allot of sense to me. |

Without seeing your textlog info, I can only take a guess here. Sometimes EMIII can report overly long times if it has been monitoring that protein for a very short period of time. Had it been allowed to complete a frame or two while being monitored?
Other thought is that maybe the optimizations were not loaded up at client start. In your log, it should say "optimizations on if available." Sometimes, the client will load up (particularly after a bad shutdown) and run without them.
