What seconds/frame rate are you getting in Folding@Home?
I am getting 38 seconds per frame with an FX-51, about 4.5 minutes per frame with an old 1500mhz AMD Athlon XP and 18 frames per second with a 750mhz Intel Pentium..(can this be right?) I am having problems with my RAID/hard drive so I have not been able to get my FX-57 working yet.
What are you guys & gals getting?

it all depends on what WU you get, i have had some where my P4 @ 3.77Ghz would do a frame in less than a min and others where it would take up to 20min per frame!
i can't give you any better examples of what my systems are getting right now because i sold my PSU to Byte and my new one hasn't come yet and i don't have EMIII installed on this system. EDIT: i hope ya get that FX-57 up and running soon, i wanna see what it can do! i want one!

Yeah, I am just as curious.
Edit: your right, I just started a new WU this morning and I am getting 2m:33 seconds per frame now. My first three proteins had the same framerate, this one is slower. Last edited by David M; 08-16-2005 at 11:40 AM. |
