questions about this folding@home deal
1 what is it?
2 can I join in? 3 what do I need to do to join in? 4 what do I need to participate? i now they are silly questions but i had to ask, for i have no idea.

Just my two cents, but if you do decide to join, go with the text console rather than the GUI version. The GUI client just likes to cause a few too many problems. And you can even make the text console run as a service if you like (link to instructions provided in LJ's link).
