WUs not sending

I know this is a fairly common problem and usually it just results from not being able to connect to the server at that moment or a server being down, etc.. But I've just come back from school to find that one of my home computers has 6 WUs queued and ready to send, and there's nothing in the logs which shows any signs of trouble sending them back. Any ideas?

Does the log show attempts to send? Is EMIII showing the excess cue, or is it the actual client?

Try using the '-send all' flag. Stop the client, make a shortcut to the .exe and add '-send all' and double-click the shortcut. The client will run only long enough to try and upload before it closes.

Upon looking back on the log, it doesn't show attempts to send. And yes it is EMIII that is showing the queue.

I just gave that a try, so we'll see if that works. Thanks Eric.

Me thinks it's a bug in EMIII...seen it too many times, no sign of problems in the log files but EMIII will show WU's in queue. After checking the log file I usually ignored the EMIII queue warning some went away and some didn't...dunno

Maybe download the latest EMIII update. I used to have that error show up all the time, but it seems to have been fixed with the most recent versions.

I think you're right Jimmie. I went back through the logs and all I see is results sent successfully. So it's probably just EMIII.

Kov-Ice: I've been using the latest version (seems there hasn't been an update since 8/22, unless I'm looking at the wrong site). I tried to get rid of EMIII and redownload and use it, but it just loads up with my stats and correct directories...not quite sure what that's all about.

Even after deleting the folder, it still picks up the paths? Not sure about that either...

Are you using the most recent protein files as well? Dunno if that would make a difference, but worth a shot.
