deadline question
hey everyone,
well i am still folding my first WU i am done with 259/500 so far (p1851). just wondering, i went to the page where it gave project info and it said p1851 - 93 points, 26 days... does this mean that as long as I finish it within 26 days it will be useful? I am a little confused as to the deadline stuff, my machine isn't that fast so I wanna make sure that by the time I finish a WU someone else hasn't finished it and made my folding pointless. this may not even make sense, just curious. steve |

yes, you have 26 days to finish that unit, if you dont return it in time it will be sent out to someone else who will then have 26 days to finish. It slows everything down if you dont get it finished in time but if you have fah configed to fit your system you should never have to worry about the deadlines. Your machine should finish them all with no problem if its folding all the time.

Plus, there's repetition of each protein. They send a certain amount of that protein out so that it can be simulated hundreds of times. Your computer will probably knock that one out in 3 or 4 days, yeah?
