One day's production

Check this out. Yesterday's Folding totals (2-10) for the Mystery_Folder. Been having some problems with a key machine but got a temporary fix til the new hdd gets here. The new D machine seems to be running smooth too.

Just playing around with EM3 and I notice some BIG wu's on both P4 machines. Double Gromacs. 586, 731, 510 & 677 pointers! Holy cow!

How do you figure out how many points a WU gets? I looked at the points FAQ on the FaH home page that shows the 110*daysWU. But that does not seem to cover it all.

The P4 630 (running two clients) I have just finished a DG that I got 1112 points for. The 630 is now working on another DG on machine 1, and machine 2 has started on a GB Gromacs.

Here is a listing of the currently running projects: http://fah-web.stanford.edu/psummary.html

Another way is to use a program such as EMIII or FahMon to monitor the folding client. These programs also give you other bits of info as well.

btw, congrats on the points! Already 10th on the top 20 producers list!

Thanks,

I will have to get that program and see what the DG and the GB Gromacs will be worth.

I have several P4's that I have access to that were sitting idle and I set them up to run at the base settings since they only have 512mb RAM. I guess I am going to have to tweek them to do big WU's cause they are kicking out 35-86 point WU about every 8 to 12 hours.

yeah, with an average speed P4 (2.6Ghz+) and 512mb+ RAM you can get some really nice points!
