Losing computer power for Folding
Going to be losing about a 1/3 to 1/2 of my computing power for Folding due to our IT dept. is upgrading our desktop computers from 2000 to XP Pro. They have the machines so locked down that they blocked access to the C: drive so can't load Folding@Home.

What a bummer, right after you had caught PR... Any chance they'll open it back up for you?

I don't think so, they took away what limited access that I have now. Seems like anyone not working for the IT dept. are having admin or super user privleges reduced down to common log-in status.

Well poo, I've been away for awhile but did notice you had jumped up there, congrats! I also see jimmyrules up there aswell, nice work!
Any way you can convince them to install it themselves? show a powerpoint or something similar? Thanks for helping even if you loose the machines!
