F@H question
if i turn my computer off, will i lose whatever im working on in F@H, i cant run my comp at night, gets too hot in my room. thanks

As far as Linux vs windows, some say linux is faster and some say windows is. I personally have not done any testing to findout myself. I would probably do a fresh install of which ever OS is easier for you to use and then remove as much junk from it as you can (i.e windows xp services) so more time is spent folding. Also as you mentioned, remove any and all extra hardware (i.e drives, PCI cards, etc) so it will be cooler and use less electric.
