Threads disappearing?

Is it just me or does it seem like when threads get pushed off the first page in this section they completely disappear?

Edit: sorry, i just had to post a new thread to see if that's what was happening, maybe there was some database corruption awhile ago? It seems like threads from October are gone, but you can find them if you know what they are and you search for them.

Default age time in this forum is 1 month. You can change that in the display options below the thread index.

Silly me. I guess I never noticed in the other sections because I thought the messages were just getting pushed way back by new posts. Sorry for hijacking the distributed computing section.
