is that system overclocked? if so you need to lower the clock or get some better cooling. that error might also be because of a stick of RAM that has gone bad.

hmm... maybe it was just an error in the unit, keep an eye on it and let us know if it happens again.

Well it crapped out again over night,
this time after 2 steps " Quit 101 - Fatal Error: NaN Detected: (ener[131] ) then it downloaded another WU and has chugged thru 42 steps in the log file. one side question, how do you safely shut down the Console version prior to powering down. so that it picks up where it left off. I'vve done it a couple of times , and eaxh time on start up the log file says it was improperly shut down ? I downloaded everest 2.20 here are the numbers Field Value Sensor Properties Sensor Type SMSC EMC6D103 (SMBus 2Eh) GPU Sensor Type Driver (NV-DRV) Temperatures Motherboard 41 °C (106 °F) CPU 55 °C (131 °F) Aux 34 °C (93 °F) GPU 50 °C (122 °F) GPU Ambient 30 °C (86 °F) WDC WD1600JS-00NCB1 35 °C (95 °F) WDC WD1600JS-00NCB1 34 °C (93 °F) Cooling Fans CPU 1083 RPM Voltage Values CPU Core 1.29 V +2.5 V 1.48 V +3.3 V 3.30 V +5 V 5.03 V +12 V 12.19 V Debug Info F 76 13 FF FF FF FF FF FF Debug Info T 37 29 22 81 Debug Info V 72 6E C0 C1 C3 hope it givres somebody a clue Last edited by DSCHIEF; 02-14-2007 at 10:55 AM. |

DS, what was the name of the protein? Occassionaly, a protein just isn't stable. What Eric mentioned is also possible.
Also, what OS are you using. For XP, simply closing the text box like any other program should work properly. For older OSes, you had to hit Ctrl-C to exit a run properly.
