i would agree. while the PS3 is uber powerful, its price tag is just too high right now. Stanford has set its ppd at 900 points so 900ppd for $500. an x1950xt will out perform that, even a C2D running SMP should get more points and cost less to buy. maybe after the price drops some they may be worth it for folding only but i cant see myself buying one right now. Plus i hate Sony.
