Problems getting new WU

Hi all,

I have just finished a WU and when it tries to get a new WU I get an error message. I wondered if anyone else was having a problem at the moment.

TIA

Ray

Check your Config file and see if you have "yes" listed for usereg. Change it to "no" using Notepad to open and edit the file, reboot the pc and see if it that helps.

Usereg is set to "no". Any other ideas?

TIA

Ray

Edit

It seems there are a few people finding this now. I have just been on the F@H forum and several people have the same problem. It seems there are no small WUs just now, but that leads me to ask another question. What memory is needed for a bigWU? I have 512 meg is that enough?

TIA

Ray

512mb might be enough depending on what else you do on your computer. for a dedicated system it should be fine and for normal computer use you should be fine, but you may run into problems running games or software such as photoshop.

Thanks for the help. I am now back folding with a 500+ WU. It seems to be working just fine.

Thanks again
