Hi all,
Just to plea to all of you folks out there with spare cpu cycles to offer, please join the team. Every person that joins helps our team as a whole. Also if you win there is money in it for you and for the team you are on. To find out how to join, it's really quite simple, just click on the link "Join the PcMech RC5 Team Today" in my signature. If you have any questions, feel free to post here or shoot me an email at floppyman@pcmech.com Thanks in Advance! |

I guess the link in my signature doesn't work anymore. If you are still interested in joining, the same instructions can be found in an older thread:

As I don't work in the office anymore, my RC5 clients are slowly getting phased out by reinstalls. (As you can see). I'm going to try to get them online when I get back.

Hi mantapc,
When your computer is idle (and even when you're working on it) it will use all spare cpu cycles to do its work. It will only use "spare" cpu cycles so you will never experience a slowdown of any kind running it. Lemme know if you have any more questions. HTH |

Is there any way I can set it up just to run when the screensaver kicks in?

If you install the application there is a .scr file included that does that for you. It's all explained in the documentation.

Hi,
When you doubleclick on the program in the taskbar to maximize it, it will give you that info. It will tell you how many packets you have left, how many packets are completed, your average speed in Mkey/s, estimated time of completion and a couple other things. HTH |
