Expecting several days of 95+ temps, so I'm bringing down the Linux farm for a few days.
it won't be for too long I need my daily fix of points.

We're finally cooling off in the midwest. I wonder how PR's weather is?

93 today! This is supposed to be the last of it for the season though. Next week looks like cooler temps and lows over night into the upper 40's. Bigger problem at the moment is a lack of internet connection. Comcast was out today to troubleshoot my constantly dropping service and found the problem on the line feeding the pole. Now I have to wait 4 or 5 days for another tech that can service the feed line. I'm barely able to keep one machine connected directly to my cable modem. Hopefully I'll be back up and Folding next week sometime. Seems strange to not see the Mystery Folder showing up in the team stats.

thats alright, chief. you have really been racking up the points! i noticed that pcmech as a team is getting right around 16k ppd! a few days ago it bounced up close to 20k. i would say thats the highest its been for quite some time, if not ever.

then we have PR here. it seems like every time i start to get back on track, you die down a little. then you get back at it and i slow down...

just think, winter is getting close, high temps will soon be over with.

Well, it's cooled off enough to open the "folding farm" again. Both my kid's pc's are down due to them moving to new digs and don't have their Comcast installed yet. That'll bring 2 more to the party. Right now I have 10 pc's running at home with 4 of them running 2 clients for a total of 14. Got 6 more in storage but those old timers just take too long to make it worthwhile. Nice to see the Mystery_Folder back on the EOC list again.
