QuadCore 6600: SMP?
I smack myself in the head for asking this, but I should be running the SMP version when I get my QuadCore processor, right?
I figure I'll set up my parents' computers (which run all the time), and my two PCs to run Folding@Home for a while, as a way of thanks for the help I got, am getting, and will get while I build my first PC. : ) |

yes, the SMP client is actually designed for quad core systems rather than dual core, BUT for maximum points a lot of people run 2 instances of the SMP client on their quads, 1 instance per 2 cores. either way would be helpful and we would be happy to have you on our team!
