Increase points with Windows client

I found this little install a little while ago, and have been testing it out. It really does lower the amount of time needed to complete a percent, and thus does increase ppd.

Now if I only had something like this for linux.

There is one for Linux

it's called Taskset
you run with a mask to ID which processors to link to F@H

in Fedora I use
Taskset 0x00000005 ./fah6 -smp -verbosity 9
and
Taskset 0x0000000A ./fah6 -smp -verbosity 9

here's a link for a Ubuntu thread

Thanks, shadowpr, just started an SMP client on a dual-quad server that's not going to be deployed for a couple of months. This should help!

Nice. You should see a nice increase of points with a dual quad.

Darn it...now I'll never catch you.

Time to build another one then.
