Crash on new WU

I have recently started folding for the pcmech team. Everytime I finish a WU and it just starts a new one, I get the "FAHCore5.03 has encountered a problem and needs to close". If I reopen it it starts the new WU just fine. I'm pretty sure it went from the first WU to the second WU without a crash but from the 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th it gave the problem crash. Whats could be causing this. Its not a major hardship but I just dont want if finishing a WU in the middle of the night and not starting a new one until I reopen it in the morning, a waste of folding time.

Which Folding client are you using? Does the current WU go all the way to 100 steps, and then crash? Or is it ending the unit early? Are you OC'ing your processor?

Its the Windows GUI 5.03. It crashes just after downloading the WU, before it starts working on it. Processor is not overclocked.

I would try the Text-only Console instead of the GUI. Although that may not be the issue, the GUI can cause OpenGL conflicts at times. The Console runs flawlessly for the most part.

Is there an error message given in the FAHlog.txt file? I'd maybe search that on the Folding Forums.
