I think 2144 is what they have always been

here's the link where I found the point value.

Hmm.

Are you doing two of those on a quad? How long does a % take? If you don't mind me asking.

I tried to re-configure my quad setup, and I can't get a 3065. I keep getting 2653.

Are there certain settings you're using to get those wu's?

The only non-standard setting would be the Wu size and I select "BIG"

Do you use the affinity settings when you run -config
that might be locking you into the Wu's for dual -core

I set up each client useing -configonly

with the config file showing a Quad
I then launch using Taskset to bind it to a core pair.

No, when setting up, i just typed the following
Quote:
./fah6 -local -configonly
I did that for both instances of it.

Then when getting ready to run I type:
Quote:
taskset 0,1 -c ./fah6 -local -smp -advmethods -forceasm -verbosity 9
I tried with both normal and big files selected. I still only got 2653. For some reason it's not connecting me to the quad only server.

Any ideas?

If you launch each instance from it's own directory.
you can drop the -local flag { not needed under linux }

the two Taskset lines I use are
Taskset 0x00000005 " cores 1 &3"

Taskset 0x0000000A " cores 2 &4"

I also set up each config to use 100% of mem. 2011 mb

even with 2 running usage rarely goes above 40%

the amount of mem. dedicated to the client might affect which ones will be downloaded.

I'll try that, and post back.

EDIT: Still only getting the 2653.

The funny thing is, when I was testing out my new build and seeing how long it would take for a wu, i was getting them. But i swear they were only worth 18XX at that time, so I didn't want them. I managed to get the 2653 like i wanted, but now that the points have gone up on them, they seem worth it.

I guess it's karma.

Maybe I'll get one next time.

But don't worry....I'm still going to try and catch you. Just need one more processor...LOL.
