Create a script

I was wondering if there was a way to write a script(I believe it would be a script) to automate the process of starting the F@H client in linux.

I would like to make a desktop icon, that I could just run upon starting the computer that would open the terminal, and run the client and set it using taskset.

Anyone know how to go about doing that?

I want to do this cause it's easier for my dad to do that, than for me to try and talk him threw doing it manually if the computer goes down.
