F@H on backup rig
I got F@H installed on my backup rig, but it seems to go really slowly, I got a 165 point WU to go through in about 24 hours (haven't left my computer on the whole time) and it seems that the new WU I got going now is faster than the previous one.
To me it seems like it's really slow, I'm running a text client in XP with a Pentium D @ 3.2GHz, and 1GB of DDR-400 ram, it seems to be hitting both cores when I check in the task manager. Any thoughts on the speed? Should it be running faster or is this about as good as a Pentium D does in F@H? I'd love to get my main rig up and running with F@H, but I'm waiting on a order for a hard drive cage with cooling (seems I'm having problems with the hard drives overheating). Thanks for you time.

Are you running SMP or the regular client? The SMP client will take roughly the same time to do a WU, but you will get over 10x the points.
