Gpu

I now feel confident enough that I can leave this PC on for extended periods again, add to that the GPU2 points have been fixed (I get about 3850PPD), I'll be back in the game for a while.

On a side note, what happened to DSCHIEF? (perhaps I missed something while I was in France)

I love the GPU client. Once I got it configured properly, I can just let it run without monitoring it and it cranks out a crazy amount of points. All of my 5000PPD come from my one 8800GT.

Its much better that the ponts have been fixed though. I was only getting 2,000PPD with those 430 pointers'.

Yeah, all I get it 480 pointers, but I o 1-2 of them every 3 hours, so it works out pretty well.

While FAHMON is telling me 3,800PPD, I'm actually getting a lot less than that, because in my WU history on EOC, every 3 or so WU's, one is only worth an odd number of points, like 122 or 168 even though it was a 480 point WU. I never got this when I was folding earlier this year, but something is making me think its related to EUE errors, but I'm useless at searching forums so I havn't found a definate answer.

Maybe you're sending units early. When I was having problems setting the client up, I kept sending units early and I got a bunch of 20 pointers even thought they were 480 WUs.

I never can get FAHMON to work, so I don't know how many PPD I should be getting.

The GPU client has a different work directory than other clients. On XP it is C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Folding@home-gpu\. On Vista its the equivalent (whatever that is).
